At the moment, it’s all in the spare bedroom (which used to be mine growing up), and its got quite crowded :S 2 big 150cm desks, 160cm 4×4 cube unit, and a wall full of shelves for the collection and display of Sylvanian Families figures + homes that Mum and I collect together.

So with the 2 new rooms, this room (spare room/old bedroom) can finally be Mum’s office again, and then spread out downstairs, and not fall on top of boxes and collection stuff that just has no shelf space to be put on anymore >.>

We don’t have Ikea here T-T but we do have similar shops with the same types of furniture. So we’ve got all the furniture ready to deck out the 2 new rooms ^^ Including 3 glass door bookcases (white :D) for the anime figures! Lots of cool stuff to add aswell, but you’ll see it as the posts come in each week of progress

So far, just pictures of construction (framing has almost finished). The sliding doors coming tomorrow, go in on Thursday Tomorrow – we go to buy the lighting! (If you know of a good type of lights to show off figures but not blind you if you want to leave them on, please say :D). Next week – plastering

We’re going to the HIA Home Show here in the city on Saturday Going to be quite cool ^^ I’ve never been to one, but Mum has. I hope they have lots of information that we need. And maybe a few specials aswell! Discount coupons – Yes please! No doubt I’ll be posting pictures of the event

I won’t say much so I don’t jinx it , but I hopefully (god willing ) be making a new display area soon (for everything I collect). I’ve bought / recieved a bunch of anime dvds awell, which is great! But I haven’t even had time to sit down and watch more then 1-3 eps of each! I’ve spent too much on Anime figures tho, but I’ve paced myself, and they’re very lovely! Some are shown below, first 3 are out, last one is still in the box, as I don’t want her to get bashed up sitting around if I’ll be tidying/moving stuff around.

I just finished my Sailormoon DvD covers today (as the old ones have never been found – just had the disks). Lovely ones  <3 I put them all into nice white dvd cases (think Wii style ones) and have them sitting on my shelf now.

Thinking of getting the Nici 25th Anniversary plush Jolly Mah, and a few things for Mum’s birthday soon. They have some lovely little things that we have memories of, which will make them the best present

I can’t believe how close it is to Christmas now~! I got a lot to get done! I’ve set myself a date of the 7th December for everything to be done. That includes the house tidy and ready, Sylvanian’s put into their homes, Christmas Tree and decorations up and ready for the holidays

Yesterday and today me and mum went to the mall, and with all the christmas decorations for sale, we grabbed some garland/tinsel to use for bushes/hedges and other greeny goodness Also put up a small christmas tree so it can be a pine tree and double as their christmas tree in the village. I had to bend it down a little to fit (as it was too tall before the roof xD) so now its about the height of the Grand Hotel Will decorate it later with tinsel, baubles, and of course battery operated lights (found lots this year /cheer!)!

I’ve been uploading pictures of my nici plushies on DA the last few weeks, so I wanted to show you the 4 I’ve done so far ^^ I still have some more photos to share, but these are what have been taken so far. And I have a feeling Christmas time is going to be nici-licious hehe!

So cute! I wish they sold them here Theres no tins of her this christmas *so far* in the shops either. I love collecting tins, to keep cards I get, or nice little things in it Or better yet, keep my shortbread bikkies in it!

I’ve been collecting things for a long time now, and I love it! Most of them (90%) has been a gift, but sometimes its not always so good cause you splurge on something and worry afterwards :S Everything has a memory to it, which is also the reason I love to collect things

I collect mostly figurines and plushies of anime/cute things/movies-tv that I love. Oh and of course phone charms ^^
